Denae had grown out layers and color and simply needed a freshen up. Pon Saradeth created a cut with a slight A-line quality that is longer in front and slightly higher in back. Layering was done low to create fringi-ness at the length.

For her color, a rich auburn brown was applied all over then chunky coppery gold and white gold highlights were added over the top.

Jodi Renteria of Fantastic Sams in Barstow, California covered Nicolette’s oldred brown base with grown out blonde chucks with a rich brown all over. Next she applied a razor cut with messy layers a heavy side swept bang and lots of texture all over. To style, Fantastic Sams Volumizing Spray was spritzed onto towel-dried hair before blowing it dry with a round brush, Once dry, the crown was teased at the root for volume and the length was flat ironed for sleekness. Shine Spray was added over the top for a glossy finish and Pomade was used to lightly piece the ends.

For her cut, a short all over crop was produced with a razored perimeter and point cut ends. Fantastic Sams Molding Mud was worked through on damp hair before finger-drying and directing the style into shape.

Jason is naturally blonde (level 8) but years of color left him with dull almost black, inky hair. Summer Vindedahl lifted the old color to even him out and match the regrowth, then she deposited a more realistic (level 7) light brown.

Jason is naturally blonde but years of color left him with dull almost black, inky hair. Summer Vindedahl lifted the old color to even him out and match the regrowth, then she deposited a more realistic light brown.

She thinned out his cut to personalize it to his face shape and features, then rough-dried with just her fingers to remove the moisture and release the hair’s natural movement. After flat ironing from the roots to ends, lifting up on top for a faux hawk effect and forward at the sides, she finished with a heavy pomade all over to piece.

For Eva, Studio C Salon Owner Leonard Castro started with concave layers through the top of the head, which worked with her natural part. Square layers are applied through the back while the lower nape is crafted into a disconnected V. Strong fringe is cut across the front from ear to ear using a point cutting technique to instill softness.

For her color, a rich chestnut brown base is broken up with a series of pre-lightened panels through the top and sides with back-to-back slices to pick up some lighter tone.

Jasmine has a shortcut with fringe that was texturized by point cutting and razoring all over. Her previous color was dark red and blonde, so Todd Snow of PON International in Anaheim Hills, CA color corrected by lightening the base to a rich milk chocolate hue. Next he added caramel and blonde highlights for a more natural and dimensional look.
