To glam up shorter hair, apply White Sands Liquid Texture to one-inch sections of dry hair and create a series of barrel curls with a medium curling iron. After the barrel curls are cooled, go over each section with Eufora Illuminate Shine Mist to produce looped pin curls, leaving a very vintage vibe.

For Alyssa, Jennifer Pecbot of Fantastic Sams in Foothill Ranch, California started by sectioning off the front from the back, creating a curly ponytail with the rear segment. For the front section, a heavy side-bang is balanced by a wreath of braids, which spans back to incorporate into the ponytail. Random sections within the ponytail are then pinned into the base of pony.

After applying a thermal protectant and curl-enhancing lotion or foam and air-dry. Take small sections of dry hair and curl each around a small iron. Tease hair at the root for volume and coax the length upward with your fingers for a plume-like effect on top.

The rest of the hair was directed back and over to one side, twisting and intertwining and softly knotting random pieces into offset curls creating an almost lacey appeal against the back of her head.
