Curl Hawk - NM-11-1270

STart with volumized, slightly curly and teased hair. Fashion a pomp in front and then take random pieces back at the sides, sewing them into place with embroidery thread while allowing the curls or waves to cascade to one side. After sewing the back into place, add elastic bands in two places along the length and then pulled a few strands to cause the hair to billow into pillow-like poofs along the pony. After finger styling everything into place, mist with Session Spray for a pliable hold.

Fullness Overload - NM-11-1269

Before, Kelsie had naturally kinky, frizzy, shoulder length hair that had damage at the ends. Her color was a mousy brown at the base that faded into brassy ends.

Nicole weaved in dark blonde and light brown to even out the tone and then added a clear gloss over the top to level the porosity, add shine and seal in the color. Next, she cut a few inches off the ends and added long layers to control the natural curl as well as give Kelsie’s strands volume.

Spiral Curls - FS-11-1261

A newer technique, naturally straight hair was spiral permed using Fantastic Sams TMP temporary wave solution. Ryan alternated small, medium and large spiral rods on small triangular sections, which gave a very delicate curl with a more current, less flat or solid coil. Once the perm was done, Ryan applied styling cream and diffuse-dried the hair to activate the curl. She smoothed a flat iron through he bangs, which were directed to one side. Last, she lightly pieced the curly length with more styling cream and then misted over the top with a light hold spray.

Ribbon Curls - SK-11-1259

A slight A-line in front leaves a ribbon curled and shoulder touching look with super-smooth bangs and a baby blonde hue.

Mix hair treatment oil and curl-enhancing lotion and apply onto towel-dried hair. Comb through to distribute the product evenly. Run a few more drops of hair treatment oil through your bangs and then use a round brush while blow-drying to smooth the fringe into place. Twirl sections around your finger to help activate the natural curl and then blow-dry using a diffuser attachment.
