Stana Katic's silky locks offer touchable body through her low layering.

Get The Look: Depending on your hair type, start with an appropriate styling product (this is important). Go for smoothing balm if you have coarse, thick, curly or wavy hair, a lightweight styling lotion if you have medium denisty hair or a volumizing lotion, foam or spray if you have thin, fine or super straight hair.

Proof that short hair can be dressed up; Jaimie Alexander flaunts a modified French roll.

Get The Look: Add styling lotion and blow dry sections with a round brush. Tease hair at the root at the crown and smooth back over the surface. Allow section to buckle slightly, which creates a “pouf” on top, and pin it into place. Smooth back the sides and pin it in back. Repeat on the other side and mist with finishing spray for all day (or night) hold.

Jaime Alexander rocks it in red with a swoopy fringe and deep but loose side part through her chin length hairstyle.

Get The Look: Depending on hair type, add either smooth serum (for texture hair), styling lotion for normal hair or a volumizing styling product for fine or thin hair and blow dry with a round boar bristle brush. Once dry, coax a deep side part, push hair to one side, tuck the other side behind your ear and piece through the ends with styling paste.
