Kara had shoulder length hair with a solid natural dirty blonde. There was an absence of layering or movement to the hair and the color had no dimension.

Pon International stylist Mary Jane Hirsh started the new look with the color. She weaved in highlights as well as low lights that were two shades darker. The end result is a mix of darker beigey blonde and soft ash blonde.

For her cut Mary Jane brought the length to her collarbone and added lots of layers throughout. Next she created soft bangs to frame her face.

To style, Pon International Sealant and Turn it up were applied all over while Müssy was used just a the root for lift. She blow-dried with a round brush for volume then flat ironed just the midshaft to the ends. This maintained the volume but made the ends sleek. After teasing the hair slightly at the crown, da flex spray was used to hold and Frizz Free was utilized to piece.
