Julianne Hough's Style Evolution

Julianne Hough's style has evolved over the years and has gone from short to long and even hovered in the middle range. Check out some of her previous looks...

With a hint of old Hollywood glamour, Julianne Hough goes for a softly rolling wave through her side-parted length.

Get the Look: Add mousse or styling spray at the root and blow dry with a vent brush, lifting up on sections for slight lift at the root. Mist sections in front with thermal styling spray and roll around a hot roller, pinning up to cool. Undo rollers and run a soft bristled brush through to create rolling waves. Part to one side and then mist with medium hold hairstyle to finish.

Piece-y bends add polish and dimension to this loosely textured mid-length style.

Get the Look: Starting with roughly dried hair, twist small sections of hair and wrap loosely around a curling wand while keeping a good grip on the ends. Once all sections are done, tousle slightly and piece through with a dab of pomade.

A deep side part and super swoopy fringe give this short coif sex appeal.

Get the Look: Add styling lotion on towel-dried hair and blow dry in varied directions using a Denman or vent brush (depending on your hair texture). Run styling cream through dry hair, create a deep side part and push fringe to one side.

Piece-y bends add polish and dimension to this loosely textured mid-length style.

Get the Look: Mist damp hair with texture spray and rough-dry using just your fingers. Twist sections of hair and wrap loosely around a curling wand, while keeping a good grip on the ends. Once all sections are done, tousle to break up sections and then mist with hair finishing spray to hold.

Shoulder-touching layers offer soft, barely-there waves.

Get the Look: Prep hair with styling lotion (or straightening balm if you have natural curl) and blow dry sections with a round brush. Mist larger sections with thermal styling spray and wrap around a medium curling iron. Hold a few seconds to set the curl and then release. Continue until all sections are done, rolling away from your face in front and back and forth in back. Shake your hair out and finger-style into place. Mist with a light finishing spray to hold.
