For Whitney, the cut by Sara Watson was created first then the hair was texturized to take out the weight. To clean up Whitney’s old ashy highlights that plagued the ends of her hair, Sara evened out the base color by introducing some golden tones, which also warmed everything up and complemented her skin. Next Cinta Salon colorist Nicole Ahlgren went in over the top and added soft highlighting in the golden range.

To style a rough beach day feel, Cinta Salon stylist Sara Watson used Prep by Bumble and Bumble to create a perfect foundation with just a hint of detangler, Grooming Crème was applied through her ends before blow-drying with a round brush. For maximum volume, Thickening Spray was applied, then the hair was barrel rolled on a round brush and allowed to set. Once the set was undone, Surf Spray and a diffuser were used, working by hand for a not so clean looking curl. The result is more of a deconstructed wave.

Does it all Hairspray by Bumble and Bumble is applied on sections of dry hair before using a 1.5 inch curling iron. Each section is barrel curled in the same direction all over. Once the entire head is done, the hair is brushed through and shaped with Brilliantine. The end result is a very sultry “Veronica Lake” sort of feel.
