Irish barber and educator Paul Mac is inspired by old school techniques. He uses traditional barbering skills of clipping, scissor-over-combing, and tailoring together with modern techniques of fading, patterning, and texturizing to create looks with a contemporary edge.

To celebrate his recent appointment as Creative Director for The Hair Movement, Brandon Messinger has created the 'Movement' collection, which takes editorial looks and shows how they can be combined with a commercial aesthetic to create real, wearable hair. A key aim was to show 'living hair' – hair that is free to move and change, not stay as a single unchanging form.
