Rayon Mclean, owner of SteelMclean Barbers, took his expertise, skills and knowledge from years of serving his diverse clientele in his South Orange, NJ barber salon to create a complete line of hair and skin care products that fit everyones needs. The line features products that cleanse, nourish and protect using natural oils and botanical ingredients, including their popular Scalp Cleanser & Shave Lotion, which uses peppermint oil to soothe the scalp, as well as shaving irritation.
Knowing that many of Mclean’s clientele were looking for a complete cleansing system for both hair and body, he launched Sport Culture, a green tea body wash and face cleanser that uses 11 botanical extracts to create a rich cleanser leaving behind moistuized, refreshed skin. The line is alcohol, paraben, sulfate and sodium chloride-free, as well as pH balanced.
“I’ve always wanted to sell a brand in my salon that works well with all hair and skin types that I am proud of and had the opportunity to manufacture from the ground up” said Mclean. “I saw that people will purchase a premium product that matches their lifestyle and their own personal brand.
